While the laptop is getting smaller, the USB ports are getting less and limited. But more and more devices are using USB port. So this Infinite USB by Gonglue Jiang can solve this problem. When there is a new USB device plug in and occupied one USB port, at the same time, it provides one more USB port. It’s colors helps users recognize the device and make it more vivid.

Microsoft Courier

Courier is the new booklet from Microsoft. A dual 7 – inch screens are multitouch, and designed for writing, flicking and drawing with a stylus, in addition to fingers. It haves a “home” physical button in the middle of the screens and a 3 megapixel camera. It is charged through an inductive pad, so no plugs would be constantly connected to the device.

Courier is on the “late prototype” stage of development; creating a better user experience and showing design concepts to outside agencies.

BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept

BMW has unveiled the Vision EfficientDynamics, a laboratory vehicle that showcases a number of innovative technologies aimed at increasing efficiency. The plug-in hybrid powertrain achiveves a fuel consumption of 62.6 mpg while the futuristic flowing design has a drag coefficient of 0.22.

The design features futuristic, almost-organic elements with the flowing forms of the interior and exterior that are closely interconnected. Displays a number of innovations such as the layering construction technology, aluminum chassis and suspension, special polycarbonate glasses, lithium-polymer cells, a 3D head-up display and an advanced energy management system.

Building on the downsizing principles, the plug- in full-hybrid powertrain adopts a 1.5 liter turbocharged diesel unit and two electric motors – one for each axle.

With a total output of up to 356 hp, while at the same time achiving an average fuel consumption of 3.76 liters/100 kilometers (62.6 mpg) and CO2 emission of 99 g/km – 50 g/km in pure-electric mode.
